ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Ashley Wayne Barlow is familiar to Bucks County audiences from his more than 30 years performing in the area. With Great American Standards and Broadway Show Tunes being his main style, he has performed at some of the area's most legendary performance venues including Bucks County Playhouse, The Stockton Inn, Town and Country Players and Odette's. Ashley spent 10 years as the Technical Director and Stage Manager of Cabaret at Odette's, under the direction of Bob Egan, where he had the great pleasure of working with some extraordinary performers from Broadway, film and television. Ashley also headlined his own Cabaret Shows at Odette's during those 10 years under the musical direction of Liz Du Four. Ashley is also a regular performer at New Hope's famous piano bar's such as The Raven, The Cub Room and Bowman's Tavern. Ashley was featured in the Philadelphia Premiere of Maltby and Shire's "Closer Than Ever".
Politeia Le is an Embodied Artist and Movement Educator. His connection to expression and creativity was ignited at an early age at the Waldorf School. At the University of California, Irvine his studies included ballet, modern, contemporary, and improvisation. There, he earned dual BFA degrees in dance performance and dance choreography. Politeia continued his studies of dance and yoga across Los Angles and New York.
As the founder of Create Space Movement Laboratory in New Hope, he aims to facilitate personal growth- in the physical, emotional, spiritual, professional, and artistic arenas. His method is a progressive and multidisciplinary approach that incorporates knowledge from ballet, modern, contemporary dance, yoga, pilates, gyrotonic, bio mechanics, Laban Movement Analysis, and various somatic practices for therapeutic movement.
In the fall of 2017, he won the FACT Bucks County singing competition and opened for Natalie Douglas’ tribute to Nina Simone. His prior singing performance was for Donald Mckayle’s “Games” in 2008. “We’re Just Friends” is Politeia’s cabaret debut.

Bob Egan
For over thirty years Bob has continued to appear at various restaurants, clubs, private parties, weddings, and corporate functions in Bucks County, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Atlantic City, and New York. He is an accomplished accompanist and musical director for vocalists. Bob also works with several violinists for his weddings and parties, and entertains solo at any occasion.
His repertoire includes thousands of songs from The Great American Songbook, Broadway and Standards -- straight through to the current Pop Hits of today.
Bob is best known for his singers open-mic nights, which he holds weekly at Bowman's Tavern in New Hope PA and regularly at The Claridge Hotel (Atlantic City NJ), The Clinton House (Clinton NJ), McLoone’s Rum Runner in Sea Bright NJ, and in Asbury Park NJ at Moonstruck, The Asbury (Hotel) and Tim McLoone's Supper Club. He also can be seen at the piano at The Nassau Club (Princeton, NJ), and The Bernards Inn (Bernardsville, NJ).
He was also Entertainment Director, Founder, and Producer of the Cabaret at Odette's in New Hope, which ran for 19 years. He has featured such great performing stars as Margaret Whiting, Carol Lawrence, Larry Kert, Andrea McArdle, Karen Akers, Barbara Feldon, Roslyn Kind, Maureen McGovern, Ann Hampton Callaway, Lainie Kazan, Sam Harris, Kenny Rankin, and many more. Odette's sadly closed due to the June 28, 2006 tragic flood, the third in twenty months time.
Bob was also creator of the famous piano bar at Odette's, which ran for 21 years and was the winner of the "Best of Philly" Award for the "Best Piano Bar."
